BENADRYL® Allergy Children’s 1mg/ml Oral Solution
BENADRYL® for Children Allergy Solution is specifically designed for children, to provide long lasting relief from allergy symptoms. The banana flavoured product contains cetirizine, and provides all day relief for dust, pet and skin allergies as well as hay fever.
This product is suitable for children 2+ and is available from your local pharmacy.
Additionally BENADRYL makes BENADRYL Allergy Children’s 6+ 1mg/ml Oral Solution which is available in grocery and pharmacy. v
Product Details
Itchy, watery eyes
Runny nose
Sneezing
Skin hives
Active Ingredient: 1mg Cetirizine dihydrochloride in each 1ml.
Also contains Sorbitol (E420), glycerol, propylene glycol (E1520), sodium saccharinate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), banana flavouring (containing benzyl alcohol), sodium acetate, glacial acetic acid and purified water

Dosage: For oral use
Age: Children 2+
Dose:
Children ages 2 - 6 years: One 2.5ml spoonful in the morning and one 2.5ml spoonful in the evening.
Children 6 - 12 years: One 5ml spoonful in the morning and one 5ml spoonful in the evening.
Children 12 and over: Two 5ml spoonfuls to be swallowed once a day.

Read the package leaflet before use. Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to. If symptoms persist or worsen, stop use and consult your doctor or pharmacist. This product, at the recommended dose, does not cause drowsiness in the majority of people. However, rare cases of drowsiness have been reported. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery. As with all antihistamines, avoid excessive alcohol consumption when taking this medicine. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, consult your doctor before taking this product. Check that the seal cap is not broken before first use. Keep out of sight and reach of children.
